IT STARTED TODAY!!!!!!

We’ve been working / waiting seven years for this day.  Hopefully the weather will cooperate, and the trail can be completed by July 31st as planned.

Elections were held at our June 18 meeting.

Retiring President, Larry Rydberg, is replaced by Grant Peterson who was elected in 2021 as President Elect for one year. Grant will complete the current term and then follow with a two-year term.
Retiring Vice President, Gregg Rummel, is replaced by John Marcks.
Retiring Treasurer, Rita Meidam, will stay on as Treasurer until we can find someone to fill the position.
Incumbent Directors Dave Ebben and Bruce Mezei retained their positions

Musson Brothers has completed the initial grubbing of the trail on the DNR property.  Trail construction should start soon with an anticipated completion date of July 31.  Oneida County has completed their segment of the trail.  The county trail is currently a dead-end trail starting at County N and terminating at the DNR property.  The trail is gated to restrict units to 65″.

Our club had a work crew removing signs from the DNR property and a crew assisting the county in preparing to opening their segment of the trail.
