Nokomis ATV Club meeting and Fall Party-Cash Raffle
Saturday September 27th – club meeting at 9am-10am at the Nokomis Fire Department. Then starting at 4pm is our fall Party and Cash Raffle Drawing at B’s Landing – Win some great prizes. Funds are being used for new trail development. All are invited. Bring a friend. 50/50 Raffles.
Live Music starring Marty Kavetschanky from the band “The Wads” will be performing solo, live at B’s Landing from 4-6pm. There are a small number of ticket available for the cash raffle so get their early if you want a chance at the top prize of $2000. Cash raffle drawing at 6pm. Food and drink specials will be available.
Ross Lake Run Club Ride
Join us on the Ross Lake Run club ride to St. Germain on Thursday, September 18. Rain or shine.
We’ll meet at Holly’s at 10:30 and leave around 11:00.
There will be several rest stops along the way so bring refreshments.
We’ll stop at Pine Knot Tavern in St. Germain around 3:00 for a meal. Arrangements have been made with Pine Knot to serve delicious brisket sandwiches with French fries: $15 per person includes meal, tax, tip.
What to expect: Scenic routes. 16 miles riding a trail from Lake Tomahawk to Ross Lake Rd with a rest stop along its shoulder. 3 shorter trails on the rest of the way to St. Germain. Trails are not technical and don’t require a higher level of skill and experience to navigate. Return to home will take less time and on paved roads. Round trip total 99 miles.
Some may want to stop at Lake Tom Tap House Bar & Patio, Birch Lake Bar or My Ten Point on our return to the Tomahawk area.
