Murmuring Waters Club Ride – August

Meet at Holly’s at 10:30am for departure
Stops: Shamrock – Lake Tomahawk
Slo’s Pub
Then Murmuring Waters

Join leader Bruce on our club ride blowout on Thursday, August 22, taking scenic trails and routes on our way to Murmuring Waters Lodge in St. Germain for lunch.

The ride will start promptly at Holly’s at 10:30 AM. Holly’s will open at 10:00 for those arriving early to knock down a Bloody Mary. We’ll pick up other riders at north parking lot of Cruiser ATV Trail on Oscar Jenne Rd at 10:50. We’ll first ride to Shamrock
Pub N’ Eatery in Lake Tomahawk for a short rest stop and then on to Murmuring Waters. Goal is to arrive there at 2:00 for a buffet lunch consisting of pulled pork, sloppy joe’s, potato salad, coleslaw, chips, fresh fruit salad. $15 dollars per person covers
meal, tax, tip.

Next stop is Thunderbird Bar & Grill, possibly extending the ride there by taking different trails IF they are not dusty. Then paved roads (Cr-J, Cr-E, Cr-D) rest of way back. We’ll stop at Birch Lake Bar on the return with a possible additional stop at
Ten Point Bar or Alpine Bar & Grill.

Holly’s to Murmuring Waters is 41 miles. Murmuring Waters back to Holly’s is 37 miles, 59 miles if we ride additional non-dusty trails. Gas is available in Lake Tomahawk and St. Germain. If it doesn’t rain ahead of ride, the minimum number of trails and
gravel routes we take may be dusty and we will reduce our speed.

It is important to estimate the number of riders who will eat at the buffet. Please comment to the Facebook post of the announcement at https://www.facebook.com/NokomisATVClub/ with the number in your group who will eat at the buffet so we can pass an estimate
to Murmuring Waters. Members and non-members are welcome.
